The Mission of the TNHS Band Boosters is to provide logistical and financial support to the TNHS Band programs. Every parent is a TNHS Band Booster and can help their student have an exceptional band experience. Band students practice hundreds of hours to perfect their Field Show and Concert Performances. In addition, Field Show, Drum Line and Color Guard competitions cost money to enter, the students have to be transported and fed. The Band Boosters raise funds for competition fees, music, instruments, buses, uniforms, and other needed items. Band Boosters rent the equipment trucks, drive the trucks, prep food, cook food, set up and take down camp as well as assist in pit crew and help the band director with logistical issues. A typical competition takes about 35 parent volunteers to make all these things happen for your band student.
